Devin Brown is a Licensed Professional Counselor–Supervisor, Licensed Addiction Counselor, and National Certified Counselor with over 10 years of clinical experience addressing trauma, spiritual conflicts, and family dynamics. Over the years, his work has expanded to consulting with business owners in addition to counseling. As the Founder and Clinical Director of Brown Counseling & Consulting, LLC, Devin leads a team of skilled clinicians, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure the highest quality of care for clients. He spends a significant portion of his time supporting the local church community through counseling initiatives and professional leadership.

Founded in 2019 and launched fully in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, Brown Counseling & Consulting was born out of Devin’s faith and calling to serve. With giving all thanks to God, the practice is rooted in compassion, integrity, spirituality, and service, with a mission to help clients achieve their healthiest, most fulfilled lives. Devin is proud of the growth and impact of his practice but remains committed to ongoing development—for himself, his team, and the community he serves.

Community engagement is central to Devin’s vision. He actively partners with local organizations such as Our Saviors Church—supporting individuals and families in need—and the RescYou Group, which provides counseling for parents grieving the loss of a child ages 1–18. He also partners with the Hub Lafayette, providing services to those in need. These partnerships reflect Devin’s belief that accessible, compassionate mental health care should extend to every corner of the community.

In addition to his clinical and leadership work, Devin serves on the Southeastern Louisiana University Counseling Alumni Advisory Board, demonstrating his commitment to mentoring the next generation of counselors. He personally answers calls from potential clients, helping connect individuals with the right care and ensuring each person finds a practice that meets their unique needs.

Outside of his professional life, Devin enjoys attending New Orleans Saints games and is passionate about exploring new destinations, with plans to see more of the world in the years ahead.
