I utilize a cognitive behavioral approach, focusing on the here and now. I help clients

recognize whether their current actions are moving them closer to – or farther from – the

lasting changes needed for successful recovery. I incorporate grief therapy as well as

my personal recovery experiences to help clients walk out of the darkness of addiction

and be set free from the bondages of self. I believe that every person struggling with

addiction deserves the opportunity to recover and live a different life.

I am passionate about meeting clients where they are and supporting them as they work

towards sobriety and healing.

With 13 years of experience working to help others walk out the journey of recovery. I

have worked in a variety of settings including inpatient and outpatient, interventionist;

including individual and family interventions, and grief recovery.

I am a Registered Addiction Counselor, Certified Compulsive Gambling Counselor and

Certified Grief Specialist. I received my education from the Louisiana Association of

Substance Abuse Counselor Training (LASACT) and The Grief Recovery Institute. I am

registered to practice by the State of Louisiana Addictive Disorder Regulatory Authority.

independent living, helping reduce relapse risk and promote long-term recovery

success.

*Family Care groups for those wanting support while someone they care about is

struggling with addiction or early recovery. It offers education, guidance, and a safe

place with others that understand

*Grief Recovery using The Grief Recovery Method designed to help people move

through loss – not around it – by completing the unfinished emotional business that

keeps grief alive.
